A bone fracture is a medical condition in which a bone is cracked or broken. It is a break in the continuity of the bone. While many fractures are the result of high-force impact or stress, bone fractures can also occur because of certain medical conditions that weaken the bones, such as osteoporosis.
Post-traumatic Arthritis
Post-traumatic arthritis is a type of arthritis that occurs following a physical injury or severe trauma to a joint. Arthritis is the inflammation of a joint that causes pain, swelling, inflammation, and stiffness. The joints are lined by soft articular cartilage that cushions the joints and aids in smooth movement of the joint bones. Degeneration of cartilage due to wear and tear leads to arthritis.
Overuse Injuries
Overuse injuries are defined as damage to muscles, ligaments, tendons, or bones as a result of repetitive stress over time. Overuse injuries are often sports-related, and seen in tennis, swimming, soccer, and other activities that involve repetitive motions.
Fragility Fractures
Fragility fractures are bone fractures that occur as a result of a minor fall or trauma, such as a fall from standing height. These types of fractures are commonly associated with osteoporosis, a condition that weakens the bones and makes them more prone to fractures. Fragility fractures can occur in any bone, but they most commonly affect the hip, spine, and wrist.

The peripheral nervous system transmits signals from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body. Any disruption in the normal functioning of the peripheral nervous system can result in numbness, pain, and weakness in your hands and feet as well as other parts of your body.

Nerve entrapment, also referred to as pinched nerve or nerve compression, is a medical condition in which a nerve is squeezed, stretched, or compressed by surrounding tissues, such as a muscle, bone, or other tissue. Usually, the nerve is compressed between a ligament and a bone.
